The semiconductor industry’s shift away from 150 mm wafer production has created significant supply chain and lifecycle challenges for manufacturers that rely on mature-node integrated circuits, particularly in the automotive, industrial, medical, and aerospace sectors. As older 0.6 µm CMOS processes reach end-of-life, companies are being forced to reassess their long-term technology strategies and migration paths.
