Precision Analog/RF Applications and CMOS Sensors
X-FAB's process technologies are ideal for implementing sensor applications, signal conditioning and signal processing applications. We offer various processes at different process nodes, depending on size and content. At smaller mixed-signal process nodes, it is possible to combine all of the functions into a complex System-on-Chip (SoC).
Process technologies for high-precision analog applications comprise a large variety of active and passive devices packaged into process modules. X-FAB develops analog, digital and mixed-signal design IP exclusively in-house for its processes to accelerate your design creation process. The analog design IP includes basic analog cells like bias cells, bandgaps, OpAmps, comparators, oscillators as well as macro cells like A-to-D and D-to-A converters, and special RF cells.
Digital standard cell libraries are built for different design constraints like speed, low power, isolation and high gate density. RAM and ROM compilers enable the designer to generate memory blocks according to the application needs. Programmable non-volatile memory blocks such as OTP, EEPROM, EELatch, Flash and NVRAM are available for program and data storage in many processes.
Hall sensor device IP enables the integration of magnetic field measurement together with signal conditioning and processing design functionality into a single chip.
