Senior /Staff Process Engineer – Frontend Oxide (Etch)
Job Summary:
Process set-up and control, SPC and problem solving, yield improvement, cost minimization and cycle time management.
Major Responsibilities:
Process set-up and control
- New process scheme review and feedback to Principal Engineer.
- Process recipe optimization and Electrical Margin check.
- Recipe management (End point detection (EPD) Algorithm, Chuck or De-chuck step, Pumping down, Ramp down or up. Stable step)
- Doing chamber to Chamber matching.
Statistical Process Control (SPC) and problem solving
- Process Capability (Cp / Cpk) / Out of Control (OOC)/ Out of Specification (OOS) lot disposition and analysis
- Process SPC chart monitoring, control and feed back to Yield Enhancement (YE) and Previous processes to re-targeting. ( Photolithography and Deposition)
- Material Review Board (MRB), Special Work request (SWR), Process Change Notification (PCN) follow up
- SPACE Chart creation or separate for new product.
- Measurement recipe confirmation.
Yield improvement
- Defect reduction, analysis and seasoning recipe evaluation.
- Process margin improvement (Recipe Tuning Gas, Power, pressure.)
- Task Force Team participation
- Prepare SWR Plan and Item.
- Minimize first wafer effect.
- Alarm Wafer and Abnormal wafer inspection.
- Recipe and Tool inhibit control.
- Decide seasoning recipe, wafer and material.
Cycle time management
- Process set-up item define to minimize process set-up time.
- Lot hold time control
- Chamber extension
Requirements:
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Microelectronics/ Electronics/ Chemical/Semiconductor Physics).
- Experience: Minimum 3-6 years of relevant working experience, particularly in Etch Frontend Oxide Process.
- Knowledgeable in SPACE software.
- Able to compile and analyze data using Klarity ACE.
- Knowledgeable in DOE/ Minitab.
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.
- Good initiatives and highly independent.
- Good analytical and leadership skills.
