Field Application Engineer (Technical Sales Support) - based in Korea

Major Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all the technical support in Korea.
2. Work with Sales team to promote X-FAB technologies to customers in Taiwan and project management in technical side.
3. Manages customer hotline pertaining to technical queries via various types of communication tools.
4. Work closely within the technical and sales team and act as liaison with other technical staff within the organization across the 3-sites (Germany, US and Malaysia).
5. Knowledgeable in semiconductor processes, product engineering, process integration, tools layout, verification of designs, design kits, libraries and IP’s.
6. Responsible for controlling and tracking customer’s queries and ensure the answer provided are according to X-FAB customer relations guidelines, procedures and hotline FAQ database at all times.
7. The incumbent is based in Korea and reports to Technical Marketing in Erfurt, Germany.

Requirements:

1. Qualification: Master / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in the microelectronic industry (technology or design).
3. Computer literacy in Microsoft Application and Engineering Design Applications (EDA).
4. Experience in using design tools, like Cadence, Mentor or Synopsys or Tanner.
5. Experienced in a field of Analog and M/S technology and design.
6. Pleasant personality, courteous, good customer service skills.
7. Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English.
8. Willingness to travel.
