Selecting the Right Technology

Choose the technology features required for your IC design to find out the most suitable foundry process for your application or browse through the processes to discover what features they offer.

Non-Volatile Memory Selector

Combine memory function, type and bit count to find out in which foundry process your selected NVM configuration is available.

High-Voltage Selector

Combine Transistor Function, VDS and VGS values to find out which foundry process offers your selected high-voltage devices.

  • (1) Start by selecting the process node (geometry) on the left hand menu.

    (2) You will now see all technologies that are available within that process node. Select the technology that you would like to learn more about. The selected technology will be highlighted.

    (3) All available features in the selected technology will now appear as dark blue buttons. After clicking on a feature button more details will be displayed.

  • (4) In some cases there may be several tabs that contain information. To navigate within the tabs, just click on the numbers at the top.

  • NVM Selector

    (5) Start by selecting the memory function in the drop-down menu on the top left. This will already narrow down the options listed next to the two slider scales below.

    (6) Use the sliders to select the type of memory that you are interested in and the respective values for bit count. The values in gray are not available and therefore cannot be selected.

    (7) With each selection you make you will see that the buttons on the right-hand side change from light blue to dark blue. Each button stands for one X-FAB foundry technology and if the button is active it will turn dark blue. An active button means that this technology offers the type of memory configuration you selected.

To view more details on the chosen NVM option for a specific technology, click on the dark blue button.

  • High Voltage Selector

    (8) Start by selecting the transistor function in the drop-down menu on the top left. This will already narrow down the options listed next to the two slider scales below.

    (9) Use the sliders to select the VGS (Gate-to-source voltage) and VDS (Drain-to-source voltage) values that you are interested in. The gray values are not available and therefore cannot be selected.

    (10) With each selection you make you will see that the buttons on the right-hand side change from light blue to dark blue. Each button stands for one X-FAB foundry technology and if the button is active it will turn dark blue. An active button means that this technology offers the type of high-voltage transistors you selected.

To view more details on the chosen HV option for a specific technology, click on the dark blue button.
